About SteelCraft
SteelCraft is more than a collection of commercial properties. We are a community-driven destination that brings people together through food, craft, culture, and shared experiences.
With locations in Long Beach, Bellflower, and Garden Grove, SteelCraft creates vibrant gathering places where local businesses, independent food and beverage operators, and surrounding communities come together.
Our philosophy is rooted in three principles: Craft, Culture, and Community.
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-minded Director of Property Operations & Hospitality to lead operations across our SteelCraft portfolio.
This is not a traditional desk-bound property management position. We are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys being present at the properties, building relationships, developing teams, solving problems, and continuously finding ways to improve the guest and tenant experience.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial property management and financial expertise with a genuine passion for hospitality, community engagement, and operational excellence.
Position Overview
The Director of Property Operations & Hospitality will oversee the day-to-day performance, financial management, property operations, and overall presentation of SteelCraft Long Beach, Bellflower, and Garden Grove.
This position will serve as a key operational leader, ensuring that all three locations operate efficiently, maintain high standards, support tenant success, and deliver welcoming experiences for guests and the surrounding communities.
The successful candidate will bring a proactive leadership style, strong financial discipline, and the ability to coordinate property management, facilities, marketing, events, and onsite teams.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee daily property operations across all three SteelCraft locations.
- Maintain a consistent, visible presence at each property.

- Ensure compliance with applicable property, safety, regulatory, and operational requirements.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Develop, manage, and monitor annual property operating budgets and forecasts.
- Review property income statements, budget variances, operating expenses, and financial performance.
- Oversee rent collections, accounts receivable, tenant sales reporting, and percentage-rent administration in coordination with Accounting.
- Manage CAM-related administration, reconciliations, and applicable lease obligations.
- Review vendor invoices, contracts, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Maintain accurate property, tenant, lease, and financial records within Yardi.
- Prepare and present monthly financial and operational reports to executive leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, manage costs, and strengthen property performance.
Tenant Relations & Hospitality
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with tenants and business operators.
- Serve as a proactive resource for tenant concerns, operational needs, and property-related issues.

- Develop consistent operating procedures and communication practices across all locations.
- Support employee development, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate effectively with Accounting, executive leadership, vendors, tenants, and internal departments.
- Foster a positive, solutions-oriented environment that balances urgency with thoughtful execution.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for a leader who brings more than technical experience.
You are someone who enjoys being out in the field, connecting with people, developing teams, and taking ownership of the spaces you manage.
You understand that successful properties require both financial discipline and memorable experiences. You can review a financial statement, resolve a maintenance issue, collaborate with tenants, support an event, and motivate a team with equal confidence.
You are organized, accountable, approachable, energetic, and committed to following through.
Most importantly, you see the opportunity to make SteelCraft's locations better places for tenants, guests, employees, and the communities they serve.
Why SteelCraft?
This is an opportunity to take a meaningful leadership role in a distinctive Southern California hospitality and commercial property portfolio.
You will help shape the operational standards, team culture, tenant relationships, and guest experience across three established SteelCraft destinations.
If you are passionate about hospitality, commercial property operations, and creating places that bring communities together, we encourage you to apply.
