OneStream Technical Lead (Contract to Hire)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced OneStream professional to lead a significant platform transformation, overseeing the migration of an existing OneStream environment from an on-premise deployment to OneStream SaaS. This individual will play a critical role in driving the migration strategy and execution, while taking ownership of the broader OneStream platform and its continued evolution. The position will combine hands-on technical development, platform administration, implementation leadership, and partnership with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders.

Initially joining on a contract basis, this individual will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent position, assuming long-term ownership of the OneStream environment, driving system enhancements, and ensuring the platform continues to support the organization's evolving financial and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of the existing OneStream environment from on-premise to OneStream SaaS, overseeing technical planning, architecture, execution, testing, and deployment.

\n

• Own the end-to-end OneStream platform, including ongoing administration, configuration, maintenance, optimization, and future enhancements.

\n

• Develop and execute the technical roadmap for OneStream, identifying opportunities to improve functionality, scalability, automation, and overall platform performance.

\n

• Design, develop, and maintain OneStream business rules, Cube Views, Dashboards, Workspaces, and XF Marketplace solutions.

\n

• Support and enhance core financial processes across Financial Close, Consolidation, Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Account Reconciliations, and Financial Reporting.

\n

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable OneStream solutions.

\n

• Manage platform integrations, data flows, and automation to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.

\n

• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and establish best practices around platform governance, documentation, and development standards.

\n

• Serve as the internal subject matter expert and primary point of contact for OneStream, providing guidance and support to business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Hands-on experience implementing, administering, and enhancing OneStream.

\n

• Demonstrated experience leading OneStream implementations and, specifically, migrating OneStream environments from on-premise to SaaS.

\n

• Strong technical understanding of OneStream architecture, configuration, and platform administration.

\n

• Experience developing OneStream business rules, Cube Views, Dashboards, Workspaces, XF Marketplace solutions, and platform automation.

\n

• Strong understanding of Financial Close, Consolidation, Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Account Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, and broader EPM processes.

\n

• Experience managing system integrations, data migration, testing, and deployment activities.

\n

• Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams, translating business needs into technical solutions.

\n

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate as both a hands-on technical resource and a strategic platform owner.
