BruckEdwards is seeking a motivated Physical Access Security Team Lead with experience supporting Enterprise Electronic Security Systems (ESS), including PACS, IP Video Surveillance, and IDS systems. In this role, you will provide day-to-day direction and support to a small team of two employees while helping ensure timely, accurate, and customer-focused delivery of physical security services. The Team Lead will coordinate work assignments, support troubleshooting and maintenance activities, promote adherence to established SOPs and guidelines, and serve as a point of contact for team priorities and customer needs. This position requires both hands-on technical support and the ability to guide team members in delivering effective electronic security solutions that help mitigate customer physical security vulnerabilities. Please be advised that the nature of this job may occasionally require work in conditions similar to construction environments, including exposure to dust, noise, varying temperatures, and physical exertion. While BruckEdwards prioritizes safety and adheres to all necessary protocols, candidates should be aware of these potential conditions. The typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with evening and weekend work as necessary.
Work performed on site with the client in Washington, DC.
Requirements:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate, support, and maintain Software House C•CURE 9000, American Dynamics, and Passage point security systems.
- Program facility and tenant physical access for personnel based on proper Federal authorization
- Manage Regional ESS integrations
- Perform daily system checks— documenting any abnormality
- Assist PACS Team members to document corrective maintenance that has been performed
- Maintain preventive maintenance and service logs
- Perform monthly trend analysis on ESS maintenance tracked
- Conduct monthly system audits for PMO review
- Adhere to all established SOP and Guidelines
- Semi-annually review established SOPs for updates and corrections
- Provide Tier I ESS helpdesk support replying to email requesting support from the PACS Team
- Assist the PACS team with troubleshooting of ESS issues
- Assist the PACS Team installing ESS devices, pulling, and terminating access control and CAT 6 cables
Required Qualifications:
- Seven (7) years of progressive experience in HSPD-12 PACS operations and maintenance support
- Five (5) years of experience using Software House 9000 C•CURE
- Education = Minimum Associate Degree and 9 years of equivalent work experience, or Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of experience
- Clearance = This is a Public Trust position and requires a National Agency Check with Investigation (NACI)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated basic networking knowledge and the ability to coordinate network support staff to request networking services
- Intermediate Level (2-4 years) experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
- Intermediate Level (2-4 years) experience with Adobe PDFs
- Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
- Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach
- Able to sit, stand, and walk
- Able to work on a ladder for extended periods of time
- Able to be exposed to dust, noise, varying temperatures, and physical exertion
