The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems and infrastructure to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient environment, and making Hidden Village a great place to live. This role includes performing routine inspections, addressing maintenance issues, and coordinating with external contractors as needed.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, snow removal and painting
- Manage landscaping and snow removal vendors to ensure an attractive and safe exterior environment
- Maintain common areas to ensure an attractive and safe environment
- Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of equipment failure and ensure longevity
- Manage and perform minor repairs to facility structures, including walls, floors, and ceilings, as well as appliances
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with building systems, machinery, and equipment. Execute repairs promptly to
- Minimize disruption to facility operations
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance
- Monitor and adjust building systems, such as HVAC and lighting, to optimize energy efficiency and comfort
Requirements:
- High School Graduate/GED
- Vocational / Technical School / Diploma Program: Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical
- At least two years' experience in building maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical
- Fluency in English
