Empire workforce is actively hiring experienced Fire Alarm Technicians to join our client’s team. Ideal candidates are dependable, self-motivated, and experienced in installation, programming, testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
Pay: $22-$33 an hour + overtime & Emergency Services compensation
Responsibilities
- Install, wire, program, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
- Read blueprints, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Perform inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA 72, NEC, and AHJ requirements.
- Complete service reports, testing documentation, and as-built drawings.
- Work with project managers, inspectors, customers, and other trades.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
- Open availability for varying job-site schedules and emergency service calls.
Requirements:
- Nevada F Card
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Minimum 3 years of fire alarm installation experience.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, and local fire alarm codes.
- Experience with Mircom, Potter, and other fire alarm systems preferred.
- Valid Nevada Driver’s License with clean driving record.
- Ability to work on ladders/lifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Open availability for varying job-site schedules and emergency service calls.
