As a Maintenance Director, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps our nursing home running smoothly. Your work will directly impact the safety, comfort, and quality of life for our residents and staff. Whether it’s fixing a leaky faucet, ensuring the heating system works on a cold morning, or keeping walkways clear, you’ll be helping create a space where people can thrive.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with daily upkeep of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and building systems are in top condition.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, prioritizing safety and comfort.

  • Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and exterior upkeep.

  • Help maintain resident care equipment, wheelchairs, lifts, and other devices—ensuring they are safe and functional.

  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to plan repairs and improvements.

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work and supply usage.

What You'll Bring

  • Basic knowledge of building systems—plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.

  • Experience in facility maintenance, preferably in healthcare or residential settings.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and effectively.
