We are looking for a dependable, skilled, Residential Maintenance Technician to help maintain our apartment communities. If you enjoy solving problems, take pride in your work, and have experience in residential maintenance, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Complete service requests in occupied and vacant apartment homes.
- Perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Prepare vacant units for new residents by completing make-ready work.
- Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and provide timely, quality repairs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas and grounds as needed.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with residents.
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment or residential maintenance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and general carpentry.
- EPA Certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
