Maintenance Technician
Location: CBRC Health & Fitness, Richland, WA Department: Facilities / Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance Manager Status: Full-Time | Non-Exempt\n

About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to keep our fitness club and its surrounding grounds in excellent condition for members and staff. This position ensures that all facility systems, fitness equipment, pools, and outdoor areas are safe, clean, and fully functional. What You’ll Do
•\n
\nInspect, maintain, and repair fitness equipment, locker rooms, pools, and common areas.\n
\n•\n
\nPerform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and building systems.\n
\n•\n
\nComplete light carpentry, painting, drywall, and general building repairs to maintain facility appearance and function.\n
\n•\n
\nMaintain landscaping and outdoor areas, including mowing, trimming, irrigation checks, leaf removal, and general grounds upkeep.\n
\n•\n
\nMonitor pool and spa systems, including water chemistry and filtration, to meet health and safety standards.\n
\n•\n
\nRespond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs throughout the facility.\n
\n•\n
\nKeep accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and inventory.\n
\n•\n
\nCoordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.\n
\n•\n
\nMaintain clean and organized maintenance and work areas.\n
\n•\n
\nFollow all safety guidelines and OSHA standards.\n
\nWhat We’re Looking For\n
\n•\n
\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school preferred.\n
\n•\n
\n2+ years of maintenance experience (fitness, hospitality, or recreation facility experience a plus).\n
\n•\n
\nBasic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.\n
\n•\n
\nExperience with light carpentry, painting, and general building repair.\n
\n•\n
\nExperience with pool/spa systems and water chemistry preferred.\n
\n•\n
\nBasic irrigation system knowledge and safe use of landscape equipment.\n
\n•\n
\nStrong problem-solving and time management skills.\n
\n•\n
\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and standing for long periods.\n
\n•\n
\nTeam-oriented positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and commitment to a clean, safe environment.\n
