• Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Selenium QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. The candidate should have strong experience in Selenium automation, testing frameworks, API testing, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.

\n

• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks using Java, TestNG/JUnit, Maven, and Selenium.

\n

• Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.

\n

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

\n

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and validate system functionality.

\n

• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.

\n

• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

\n

• Validate APIs using Postman, Rest Assured, or SOAP UI.

\n

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

\n

• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on quality metrics and testing progress.

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

\n

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.

\n

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

\n

• Proficiency in Java programming.

\n

• Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven, and automation framework development.

\n

• Hands-on experience with API Testing using Postman or Rest Assured.

\n

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

\n

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

\n

• Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

\n

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

\n

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

\n

• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.

\n

• Experience in performance testing tools such as JMeter.

\n

• Banking, Financial Services, or Enterprise Application experience preferred.

\n

• Exposure to mobile automation testing using Appium is a plus.
