Role Description The Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Denver, CO, responsible for the daily operations and performance of an affordable housing community. This position oversees lease administration, resident relations, rent collection, and compliance with all housing regulations and organizational policies. The Property Manager coordinates maintenance requests, unit inspections, vendor services, and ensures that the property is safe, well-maintained, and welcoming. This role also supports resident-focused initiatives by collaborating with service providers, addressing resident concerns promptly, and fostering a positive community environment. The Property Manager prepares reports, monitors budgets, and works closely with leadership to meet occupancy, financial, and compliance goals.\n
Qualifications

  • Property operations and leasing: Experience with lease administration, rent collection, unit turns, and occupancy management in residential or affordable housing communities.

  • Resident relations and customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to engage respectfully with residents, resolve concerns, and support a positive, inclusive community environment.
  • \n

  • Compliance and administrative skills: Familiarity with housing regulations and documentation, attention to detail in recordkeeping, and ability to follow organizational policies and procedures.
  • \n

  • Maintenance coordination and safety: Ability to prioritize work orders, coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors, and promote safe, clean, well-maintained facilities.
  • \n

  • Financial and organizational skills: Experience monitoring budgets, preparing reports, and using property management or related software to support data-driven decisions.
  • \n

  • Communication and teamwork: Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, service partners, and leadership.
  • \n

  • Problem-solving and time management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced property environment.
  • \n

  • Education and experience: Prior property management or housing operations experience preferred; relevant certifications or training in property management or affordable housing are beneficial.
