Agronomy Applicator


Pro-Ag is seeking an Applicator & Ag Laborer to join the team at our Henning, MN location. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying fertilizer and chemicals to crops and performing various agricultural tasks. Regular hours during the off season will be around 40 hours a week and seasonal hours during the months of April-July will include evenings, weekends and overtime.

Pay range depending on experience is $24-$27 plus bonuses


Responsibilities:

  • Apply chemicals & fertilizer to crops using appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Perform various agricultural tasks
  • Maintain and repair equipment as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations
  • Keep accurate records of chemical applications and other tasks performed

Requirements:

  • Experience as an applicator is a plus but willing to train
  • Knowledge of agricultural practices and equipment
  • Ability to operate and maintain various types of equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license
    About UsPro-Ag has ten facilities located in the following communities - Alexandria, Brandon, Browerville, Clarissa, Eagle Bend, Garfield, Henning, Hoffman, Parkers Prairie and Urbank. The major products and services handled by the cooperative include bulk fertilizer blending and application, crop protection products and application, seed sales, bulk and bag feed manufacturing, sales and delivery, grain storage/marketing, propane and bulk fuel delivery. Along with these major products we sell many other supplies used in agriculture production.
