Job DescriptionDPP is seeking a Product Support Engineer for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
Work Location: Onsite in Englewood, CO
Duration: 12 months
Terms: W2 Contract
Work Authorization: US Citizen; must have the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
Responsibilities:
- As a Product Support Engineer, you will be learning to provide technical support and troubleshooting for our product and system prototypes.
- You'll assist with assessing our customer needs and determining the most appropriate technical solution for concept and prototype products and systems.
- Your technical responsibilities include the support of product installation, testing, error/defect detection and correction, and coordinating the appropriate corrective action with engineers and operators.
Required Qualifications:
- Exposure to wireless networks, tactical communications and personal computers.
- Communication and customer interface skills.
- Familiarity with system level maintenance of networks and communications systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or typically 0-2 or more years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics.
- Familiarity with the network and integration of traditional communications systems and sensors.
- Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques.
- Experience with RF, vehicle installation and maintenance procedures.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military.
- Leadership experience in the military or civilian organization.
