Security Guard
Salary Range
$22-$24
Job Summary
- Guards, patrols, and monitors premises to prevent theft, violence, and rule infractions.
General Accountabilities
- Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Calls police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Answers alarms and investigates disturbances.
- Circulates among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
- Patrols premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Escorts or drives motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection.
- Operates detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
- Warns persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehends or evicts violators from premises, using force when necessary.

Job Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
- Licenses/Certifications: State of WA security guard license
- Drivers license valid
- Vehicle with insurance
- Safety sensitive position. Must be drug free. Marijijana use prohibited.
- Pass drug test.
- Pass criminal background check.
- Pass employment background check.
- Must be physically able to perform all duties, which may require: walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, lifting, pulling, pushing, grasping and other physical tasks as applicable to the job.

SRC Private Security LLC has been providing security services since 1996. The pay range is $22-$24 per hour. Sites are located throughout the Puget Sound area.
