Full Throttle Security Corp. is seeking a Security Officer to help protect people, property, and daily operations in our Orlando, FL locations.
Position Summary
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through vigilant presence, professional interaction, and consistent enforcement of site security procedures. This role plays a key part in deterring incidents, identifying risks early, and responding appropriately when issues arise.
This part-time onsite position in Orlando, FL is ideal for individuals who take pride in being observant, dependable, and customer-focused while supporting a secure workplace.
Key Responsibilities

Patrol assigned areas on foot and/or by vehicle, monitoring for safety and security concerns.

Observe, document, and report incidents, unusual activity, and potential hazards according to site procedures.

Monitor entry points and follow established procedures for access control and visitor handling.

Respond to security-related events, assist with de-escalation when appropriate, and escalate concerns to supervisors as needed.

Maintain clear and accurate logs and reports, including time-stamped observations and outcomes.
Required Qualifications

Ability to work part-time onsite in Orlando, FL and maintain consistent attendance.

Strong situational awareness and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing risks.

Professional demeanor and effective communication with staff, visitors, and stakeholders.

Ability to follow written procedures and act responsibly in accordance with site policies.

Ability to perform patrols and remain alert for extended periods.

Must have valid Driver's license. NO ride share or public transportation

Must have valid Florida Class D Security License.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior security experience or experience in a safety-focused role.

Familiarity with incident reporting practices and maintaining accurate documentation.

Experience handling customer-facing interactions while maintaining security standards.

Comfort working independently and taking initiative to resolve issues within established boundaries.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $16.00
