Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and fixtures.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and fixtures as needed.
- Maintain inventory of repair supplies and tools, ensuring they are organized and in good condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with staff and visitors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in maintenance or related field is a plus.
