About the Position
We are looking for a self-motivated, hands-on Maintenance Coordinator to join our growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional with a strong machine shop background who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership, and helping build a reliable maintenance operation in a growing company.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment, with the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manual and CNC lathes, mills, and other manufacturing equipment.
We are a small, growing company looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works independently, and understands the importance of keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair lathes, mills, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and identify practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Maintain shop equipment, tools, and facility systems.
• Develop and improve preventative maintenance procedures as the company grows.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Take ownership of maintenance activities and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
• Experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of lathes, mills, and related machining equipment.
• Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment repair.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and take initiative in a growing company.
