Role Objective
The Onsite Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of TRCs workforce within the warehouse facilities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for Site Leads and is responsible for ensuring 100% compliance with safety, attendance, and incident reporting protocols. The successful candidate will transition the account from a "reactive" to a "proactive" compliance culture.
Primary Responsibilities
- Zero-Hour Reporting: Ensure all workplace incidents, "near-misses," and injuries are reported to all managers within the mandatory reporting window.
- Documentation Excellence: Complete all formal First Report of Injury (FROI) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) paperwork within 4 hours of any event.
- Safety Audits: Conduct daily "Safety Floor Walks" to identify hazards and ensure all TRC employees are utilizing proper PPE and following safety guidelines.
- Training Verification: Ensure 100% of new starts complete site-specific safety orientations before stepping onto the production or warehouse floor.
- Site Leader Alignment: Conduct daily "Shift Synchs" with Site Leads (Building 1, 2, or 3) to address immediate headcount gaps or performance issues.
- Attendance & Roster Management: Audit daily clock-ins to ensure 100% accuracy in the Master Tracker and VMS systems.
- Performance Coaching: Manage on-the-floor disciplinary actions and terminations in strict accordance with TRC professional standards.
- Daily Flash Reports: Provide a daily summary to the SAM regarding headcount status, safety compliance, and any operational friction points.
- VMS Integrity: Coordinate with the Recruiting Pods to ensure all "Monday Starts" are fully cleared and documented in the VMS prior to arrival.
- Retention Initiatives: Execute Day 3 and Day 7 "Stay Interviews" with new hires to mitigate turnover and improve employee engagement.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Reporting Compliance:100% on-time submission of all safety and incident documentation.
- Safety Record: Zero "Late-Reported" injuries.
- Retention: Maintaining a monthly turnover rate of 5%.
- Roster Accuracy:100% alignment between floor headcount and VMS/Master Tracker data.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 35 years of onsite management experience, preferably in a high-volume warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with OSHA reporting standards and workplace safety protocols is required. (OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for tracker management) and experience with VMS platforms (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline).
- Communication: Must be able to deliver firm, professional communication in high-pressure situations, especially when interacting with client leadership.
