We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at a grain processing facility. This is a long-term employment opportunity for a dependable individual with strong mechanical skills and experience maintaining industrial equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machinery, rotating equipment, bearings, belts, welding, and fabrication, and be committed to maintaining safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Inspect, replace, and maintain bearings, belts, motors, conveyors, and other rotating equipment.
- Perform welding and basic fabrication repairs as needed.
- Install, align, and adjust mechanical components.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
Schedule Requirements:
- Open availability is required.
- Must be able to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, grain processing, or industrial environment preferred.
- Experience working with industrial machinery, rotating equipment, bearings, belts, conveyors, pumps, and motors.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
- Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in an industrial environment.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
