Job Summary
\n
Support substation automation and modernization projects through SCADA, OT networking, RTU configuration, network architecture, and cybersecurity. Work with Protection & Controls, IT, field engineering, vendors, and contractors.

Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Design and troubleshoot SCADA/OT networks, RTUs, and substation communications.
- Support IP/MPLS, BGP, SD-WAN, and industrial Ethernet.
- Develop redundant, highly available utility network architectures.
- Configure NovaTech Orion LX+ RTUs and DNP3 communications.
- Support NERC CIP, OT/IT segmentation, Zero Trust, and firewalls.
- Work with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Ruggedcom, Cisco IE, and ABB equipment.
- Support RS-232/485, T1, fiber optics, and legacy-to-IP migration.
- Support PTP and TSN time synchronization for substation automation.
- Create Visio network diagrams, IP documentation, and equipment records.
- Troubleshoot design vs. as-built discrepancies.
- Monitor networks using SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, NetBrain, and Splunk.
- Coordinate technical deliverables with engineering teams, vendors, and contractors.
