Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical systems. You will work on diagnosing and repairing equipment such as bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and more, ensuring all machinery operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on photo eyes, sensors, VFDs, and PLC systems, including Siemens and Mitsubishi.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical systems including bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic systems, pallet lifts, and press machines.
- Remove, replace, and rewire three-phase AC/DC motors.
- Complete machinery adjustments to maintain equipment at established production standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Support preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to address equipment issues and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
- 3 years of hands-on industrial/manufacturing environment or automated distribution experience.
- Ability to read schematics.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems with experience working with voltages ranging from 24V to 480V.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Experience working with VFDs, sensors, photo eyes, and three-phase motors.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, and preventive maintenance.

Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-paced, production-driven indoor facility spanning 470,000 square feet. The air-conditioned space requires standing for long periods while working around multiple machines.

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Petersburg, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
