PROSTAR Staffing is seeking a Hardware Technician Trainee to join a growing technology company in the Parsippany area. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with their hands, and is looking to gain experience in hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and technical support.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble computers, hardware components, and equipment
- Install wiring, cables, and hardware systems
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
- Assist with computer setup and configuration
- Maintain inventory and service records
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Basic computer knowledge preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Valid driver's license preferred
