Role Description The Commercial Cleaning Technician role is a part-time, on-site position located in the Maplewood area of St. Louis. The job will require two nights per week on Monday's and Thursdays second shift i.e. from 5:30 p.m. until job is completed which is approximately 3 hours Monday's and Thursday's. These days are not-negotiable. No weekends, and we do not work on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Years Day. Should one of these holidays fall on your regularly scheduled workday the tasks must be completed the day before the day of or the day after.

This role includes performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, heavy DETAILED dusting, and EXTREME DETAILED restroom sanitation in a commercial facility. The technician will follow established checklists, use appropriate cleaning products provided by PRIME and equipment safely, and report any maintenance or safety issues encountered on-site. Daily responsibilities also include restocking supplies, ensuring all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards, and communicating with supervisors or clients as needed. The position requires consistent attendance, adherence to health and safety protocols, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

Ability to perform commercial cleaning tasks, including floor care, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and general facility upkeep. The ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis for trash as well as recycling.
Climb STEEP multiple steps multiple times per evening.
Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, with strong attention to safety procedures and guidelines.
Strong time management skills, reliability in following schedules, and capability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Effective communication skills for interacting with supervisors, team members, and clients in a professional manner.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry cleaning supplies and equipment throughout a shift.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning is a plus.
Willingness to pass any required background checks and comply with company policies and client site rules.
