POSITION SUMMARY
This role is critical in ensuring that the venue operates smoothly and maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization across all areas, both inside and around the building.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•\tMaintain Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, bar areas, restrooms, and storage areas.
•\tOutdoor Maintenance: Keep the outdoor areas clean, including the trash area outside the back door.
•\tGrounds Keeping: Maintain the cleanliness of flower beds and planters, ensuring windows and all egresses are spotless.
•\tSetup and Breakdown: Handle the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment daily, ensuring that all elements are secure and stored properly after closing.
•\tDeliveries: Assist in receiving and properly storing deliveries, ensuring that all items are accounted for and placed in their correct locations.
•\tUtility Cart Operation: Operate the venue's utility cart for various tasks, including transporting supplies and managing trash removal, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
•\tSupport Staff: Assist the service and kitchen staff by ensuring that they have all the supplies and equipment needed.
•\tWaste Management: Manage waste disposal efficiently, including sorting and recycling as required by local regulations.
•\tSafety: Keep all pathways and public areas free from debris to ensure safety and cleanliness.
•\tEmergency Assistance: Assist with emergency maintenance or cleaning tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
•\tHigh school diploma or equivalent.
•\tPrevious experience in a similar role in a hospitality or event setting preferred.
•\tStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•\tAbility to perform physical activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for long periods.
•\tWillingness to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
•\tExcellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
•\tTeam player with good communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

•\tManual Dexterity: Skill in handling a variety of tasks, such as cleaning, carrying items, or assisting guests with luggage.
•\tMobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and reach in order to perform various tasks throughout the facility.
•\tCoordination: Good hand-eye coordination for handling equipment and performing duties like cleaning, moving items, or organizing spaces.
•\tTolerating Heat and Cold: Comfort working in various environments, including outdoor or non-climate-controlled areas, especially when moving between buildings or loading/unloading items.
•\tVisual and Hearing Acuity: Necessary for observing surroundings, assisting guests, and communicating with staff and visitors.
