Key Responsibilities
- Design and build RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
- Work with AWS services, including RDS, SQS, and S3
- Contribute to and maintain infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and Argo
- Collaborate closely with product and cross-functional engineering teams on technical design and delivery
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team rituals
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Python skills
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI or a comparable async Python framework
- Comfortable working in a containerized, cloud-native environment (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team
Preferences
- Experience with React or other frontend frameworks
