Product / Quality Assurance Manager– Competitive Salary + Benefits – Statesville, NC
The Role
Are you passionate about ensuring the highest quality standards for products and customer satisfaction? Look no further than Accuma Corporation! We're seeking a Product/Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team of experts.
As a Quality Assurance Manager you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards that our customers have come to expect from our products. You will be responsible for assisting with the completion of corrective actions for customer-related concerns, using your knowledge of statistics, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes to ensure that we identify and resolve any issues quickly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for initiating action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to product, process and quality systems and identify and record problems relating to product, process and quality systems.
- Responsible for initiating and recommending or providing solutions through designated channels and verify the implementation of solutions.
- Responsible for controlling further processing or delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- Responsible for developing a sound organizational structure for the performance of all phases of the quality control component activities.
- Responsible for providing for Plant leadership in the development, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems, policies, and procedures for the total organization.
- Responsible for establishing quality standards, goals, objectives for measuring company quality performance.
- Responsible for system update including document revisions, document approval, distribution, and record keeping.
- Responsible for facilitating management review process by coordinating management review meetings each quarter as defined per procedure requirements. Publish meeting minutes, listing of open issues, coordinate issue closure, and drive the element review process.

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Product / Quality Engineer are:
- Bachelor’s Degree or CQE certification.
- Engineer or equivalent experience.
- Preferred minimum 4-year experience as a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of statistics, root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Professional and optimistic attitude, ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of injection molding and assembly processes is preferred but not required.
