Tier4 Group is seeking an experienced, Certified Scrum Master to lead Agile software development teams and drive delivery excellence in a collaborative, fast-paced environment based in the Orlando FL area. This role will partner with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate Agile practices, remove impediments, and help teams achieve sustainable, high-performing results.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Coach teams on Agile and Scrum principles, fostering continuous improvement and team maturity.
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to align priorities, manage backlogs, and support delivery goals.
- Remove obstacles that impact team performance and promote a culture of accountability and transparency.
- Track, communicate, and report Agile metrics, team progress, and delivery outcomes.
- Support CI/CD practices, test-driven development, and Agile release management activities.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification.
- 5+ years of Agile/Scrum experience, including at least 2 years serving as a Scrum Master.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams in story writing, story mapping, estimation, and backlog refinement.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile delivery methodologies, CI/CD, and test-driven development.
- Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to work across business and technology teams in a complex environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist certification.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience working within scaled Agile environments and collaborating with Release Train Engineers.
