Job Description Maintenance Technician Location: Troy, Ohio
Shift: 3rd Shift
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and helping keep production equipment running safely and reliably. Job Duties
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and utilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Support equipment setups, changeovers, and adjustments
- Assist with machine start-ups and performance checks
- Record maintenance activities in the CMMS system
- Follow established safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Participate in root-cause analysis and equipment reliability improvements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work varying shift lengths of 8–12 hours and occasional weekends
- Technical or vocational training preferred
- CMMS experience preferred
- Familiarity with PLCs and automation systems preferred
