Job Description:
Role Summary:
Analytics support for Client ’s NPA and zonal electrification programs, an initiative focused on accelerating building electrification to avoid gas infrastructure investments and support long-term decarbonization goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- ETL Pipeline Creation: Develop and maintain an extract-transform-load data pipeline across multiple different core data environments to screen and prioritize electrification opportunities across Client ’s system.
- New Data Sources: Provide recommendations to enhance data pipeline with new data sources and improved data processes.
- Process Automation: Create automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery, ensuring accurate data manipulation and data cleansing.
- Dashboards and Ad Hoc Analysis: Develop and communicate clear, concise, and actionable data analyses in the form of dashboards or ad hoc reports.
Education Minimum:
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum Experience:
- 4 years of related work experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Desired):
- Advanced skill in Python (or similar programming languages) for data analysis and automation.
- Advanced skill in SQL and database query languages for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from data environments.
- Advanced skill in designing and maintaining ETL processes for large datasets.
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools.
- Experience in GIS preferred.
- Familiarity with utility operations.
- Able to analyze and interpret data and effectively communicate findings.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $60.00 per hour.
