Position Overview
The General Service Technician (GS Tech) plays an essential role in our shop — handling routine maintenance, inspections, and light repairs while learning alongside experienced techs. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a full technician role, with paid training and a clear path toward becoming a Certified Maryland State Inspector.

We’re looking for someone who’s dependable, mechanically inclined, and committed to doing every job with accuracy, care, and a team-first mindset.

What You’ll Do

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and other routine maintenance
• Mount, balance, and repair tires
• Inspect brakes and assist with pad/rotor replacement
• Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings clearly
• Assist senior techs with diagnostics and repair procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized work bay
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members
• Follow all safety procedures and quality control protocols
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of automotive experience or equivalent training
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable driving both manual and automatic vehicles
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Basic hand tools preferred (shop tools available for some tasks)
• ASE certifications or technical school experience are a plus
