Job DescriptionWe are looking for an SAP Master Data Solution Specialist to support master data strategy and execution for a manufacturing environment in Brooklyn, New York. This Contract position is ideal for a consultant who brings strong experience in SAP master data management, data governance, and S/4HANA Cloud delivery. The role will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve data integrity, streamline processes, and support scalable ERP operations.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, configuration, and support of SAP master data solutions aligned with business and operational needs.
• Collaborate with functional and business teams to define master data standards, ownership models, and governance practices.
• Monitor data quality issues, investigate root causes, and drive corrective actions to improve accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Support end-to-end master data lifecycle activities, including creation, maintenance, validation, and process optimization.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA Cloud initiatives by translating business requirements into practical master data solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues, and align on implementation priorities.
• Apply SAP Activate and Agile delivery methods to manage tasks, support project milestones, and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Assist with Fiori-based processes and embedded analytics capabilities to enhance visibility into master data performance and usage.• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, data management, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP master data management implementation and production support environments.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Practical knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile project delivery approaches.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality controls, and master data lifecycle management principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• SAP Master Data or SAP S/4HANA certification is highly preferred.
