Facilities Maintenance Technician
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair a manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform painting, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, demolition, and ceiling repairs
- Complete minor electrical repairs (110/208V), replace fluorescent ballasts, and install LED lighting
- Assist with HVAC, compressors, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests
- Inspect the facility for safety hazards
- Maintain maintenance records and purchase necessary supplies
- Coordinate with outside contractors
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous facilities maintenance experience
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Ability to perform physical labor
- Comfortable working around machinery, fumes, chemicals, and moderate noise
Salary: $20-$25 p/hr
