Position Overview

\n

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Architect to support a strategic transformation program within the Treasury Services organization. This role will focus on driving business process modernization, operating model redesign, workflow optimization, and technology-enabled transformation initiatives across Global Payments & Trade.

\n


\n

The ideal candidate combines deep business transformation expertise with strong knowledge of sales processes, workflow design, KYC operations, and treasury or payments products. This is a hands-on role requiring an individual who can engage senior stakeholders, define future-state operating models, document requirements for technology teams, and help drive successful delivery of key transformation initiatives.

This position is not a traditional Business Analyst or Product Owner role. We are seeking a transformation professional who can independently lead workstreams, influence stakeholders, and execute within a complex global organization.

Key Responsibilities

\n

Transformation & Program Delivery

\n

    \n
  • Support the delivery of strategic transformation initiatives across Global Payments & Trade, from demand intake through benefits realization.
  • \n

  • Drive business process and operating model transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience.
  • \n

  • Develop and maintain transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives, strategic priorities, and organizational goals.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with enterprise transformation teams to ensure alignment with Treasury Services strategy and target outcomes.
  • \n

  • Assist in delivering business cases, OKRs, and measurable value realization across strategic programs.
  • \n

Business Process Design & Analysis

\n

    \n
  • Gather information from multiple stakeholders and data sources to document current-state processes and define future-state operating models.
  • \n

  • Create process maps, workflow designs, and organizational models that support business transformation initiatives.
  • \n

  • Identify operational inefficiencies, process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • \n

  • Develop requirements and business specifications for technology teams supporting workflow and platform enhancements.
  • \n

  • Partner with architecture and technology teams to define scalable business solutions and workflow improvements.
  • \n

Stakeholder Management

\n

    \n
  • Partner with senior business leaders, sales teams, operations, technology, risk, compliance, and control partners.
  • \n

  • Effectively challenge assumptions and influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
  • \n

  • Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and process design discussions with global stakeholders.
  • \n

  • Build credibility with executive and senior-level stakeholders across Treasury Services.
  • \n

\n

Testing & Implementation

\n

    \n
  • Support functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of new capabilities.
  • \n

  • Assist with rollout planning, change management activities, and user adoption efforts.
  • \n

  • Support global deployment of new functionality, processes, and operating models.
  • \n

  • Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
  • \n

Risk & Controls

\n

    \n
  • Partner with CAO, Risk, Compliance, and Control teams to strengthen governance frameworks and operational controls.
  • \n

  • Support process enhancements that improve compliance, operational risk management, and regulatory readiness.
  • \n

  • Ensure transformation initiatives incorporate appropriate controls and monitoring mechanisms.
  • \n

Required Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • \n

  • 10+ years of experience in business transformation, process redesign, operating model development, strategic initiatives, or change management.
  • \n

  • Experience within Payments, Treasury Services, Transaction Banking, Commercial Banking, FinTech, or related financial services environments.
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, workflow design, and client onboarding/KYC processes.
  • \n

  • Demonstrated experience creating current-state and future-state process maps and operating models.
  • \n

  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for workflow automation, platform enhancements, or technology implementations.
  • \n

  • Ability to identify root causes, operational challenges, and strategic improvement opportunities.
  • \n

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • \n

  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments alongside technology and design teams.
  • \n

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and operate effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
  • \n

  • Hands-on approach with a strong execution mindset and ability to independently drive deliverables.
  • \n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • \n

  • Experience supporting Treasury Management, Global Payments, Cash Management, Trade Services, or Transaction Banking businesses.
  • \n

  • Familiarity with treasury products, payment solutions, and client lifecycle management.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of KYC, regulatory requirements, and operational control frameworks.
  • \n

  • Exposure to workflow platforms, business architecture, process automation, and enterprise transformation programs.
  • \n

  • Experience leading or contributing to large-scale business transformation initiatives involving people, process, technology, and organizational change.
