Position Summary
The Senior Web Developer serves as the technical lead for enterprise web platforms, public websites, Drupal environments, and SharePoint-based solutions supporting NICHD business operations and public-facing digital services.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and maintenance of Drupal websites hosted in Azure.
- Design and develop responsive web applications using USWDS standards.
- Support SharePoint Online and SharePoint Subscription Edition solutions.
- Develop CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Cypress, and related tools.
- Implement accessibility and Section 508 requirements.
- Support integration with NIH enterprise systems and authentication platforms.
- Perform code reviews and ensure quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 4+ years leading web development teams.
- 5+ years supporting grants and council-related applications.
- 5+ years experience with Drupal 8/9/10/11, Azure, SharePoint 2016/2019/SE/SPO, MVC 5, jQuery, and Nintex K2.
- 3+ years React experience.
- 3+ years USWDS experience.
- Experience with claims-based authentication.
- Experience developing SQL Server and Oracle stored procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- NIH website experience.
- Azure DevOps certifications.
- Experience with Search.gov and Google Analytics.
