Job Summary
\n
We are looking for an experienced Data Center Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in data center operations, infrastructure management, hardware support, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining data center systems, ensuring high availability, performing installations and upgrades, and responding to infrastructure incidents.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure, servers, network equipment, and associated hardware.
- Perform server installation, configuration, rack/stack, cabling, and hardware replacement.
- Troubleshoot server, storage, network, and connectivity-related issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on data center equipment.
- Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability.
- Coordinate with network, systems, security, and facilities teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
- Manage hardware installations, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning activities.
- Follow data center security, safety, access control, and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of equipment, cabling, configurations, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Support data center moves, adds, changes, and infrastructure expansion projects.
- Work with vendors and third-party service providers for hardware maintenance and support.
- Participate in on-call or shift rotations when required.
- Ensure compliance with data center operational standards, policies, and procedures.

Required Skills
\n

- 4–5 years of experience in Data Center Operations, Data Center Engineering, or Infrastructure Support.
- Strong knowledge of physical server hardware and data center infrastructure.
- Experience with rack servers, blade servers, storage systems, and network devices.
- Hands-on experience with server installation, troubleshooting, and hardware replacement.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Experience with structured cabling, fiber/copper connectivity, and cable management.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of monitoring and ticketing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multiple technical teams.
