Job Description

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

WHY THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY

  • Take ownership of complex, high-stakes litigation at a well-established, full-service firm with nearly a century of legal excellence behind it
  • Work on substantive personal injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation matters for high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and institutional clients — not routine, low-complexity files
  • Direct client interaction and real case responsibility — this is a senior role where you'll be trusted to move matters forward, not just support from the sidelines
  • Collaborative, team-oriented firm culture with genuine investment in its people and a track record of long-tenured staff
  • Competitive compensation plus eligibility for discretionary year-end bonuses and merit-based increases
  • Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), generous paid time off, and access to additional voluntary programs
  • A firm that values work-life balance and community engagement — without sacrificing the quality of work or the caliber of clients

Location: This is a full-time, in-person role based in our Greenwich, CT office, five days per week. Greenwich is an exceptional place to work — a vibrant, professional community with easy access to both Connecticut and New York.

Note: This role requires 5+ years of paralegal litigation experience in a law firm setting, with a strong background in personal injury and/or complex litigation. Candidates must be comfortable with high-volume caseloads, direct client interaction, and Connecticut and/or New York court e-filing. Candidates without law firm litigation backgrounds will not be considered.

ABOUT US

We are a well-regarded, full-service law firm with a proud history dating back to 1930 and a practice spanning 30+ areas of law — from litigation and personal injury to corporate transactions, real estate, estate planning, and beyond. Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who share a commitment to client service, collaboration, and results. We represent high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and institutional clients across the country, and we take pride in the culture we've built — one where every member of the team is valued and supported. Confidential Employer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage litigation files from pre-litigation through trial — keeping cases organized, deadlines tracked, and matters moving forward at all times
  • Draft, review, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and client and opposing counsel correspondence
  • Coordinate all phases of discovery including document collection, production, and deadline tracking
  • Obtain, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and supporting documentation with a focus on personal injury and medical malpractice matters
  • Prepare settlement packages, trial binders, hearing materials, and exhibit sets
  • Communicate directly with clients, experts, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel in a professional and responsive manner
  • Manage court filings across Connecticut, New York, and federal courts — including e-filing and calendar/deadline management
  • Assist attorneys with case strategy, file organization, and hands-on trial preparation
  • Provide limited support on residential real estate matters as needed, including contract editing and coordination of title searches

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of paralegal litigation experience in a law firm setting required
  • Paralegal certificate, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a related field
  • Strong background in personal injury and/or complex litigation; wrongful death experience a plus
  • Experience managing high-volume caseloads and competing deadlines
  • Familiarity with Connecticut and New York court systems and e-filing procedures
  • Experience with document review platforms or e-discovery tools
  • Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
  • Experience with residential real estate contracts a plus
  • Comfortable working directly with high-profile, high-touch clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently

WHY YOU WILL LOVE WORKING HERE
