Shift Details

4-10 hour shifts - Thursday and Friday - 10:00pm to 8:30am - Saturday and Sunday - 6:00pm - 4:30am

Core Responsibilities

  • Supervise, plan, and coordinate maintenance work across building structures and facility equipment to maintain service levels.
  • Implement and refine preventive maintenance programs for new and existing assets.
  • Oversee custodial operations to uphold facility standards.
  • Control spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are on hand.
  • Model safe work behaviors; ensure climate control and OSHA requirements are consistently met.
  • Engage on cross-functional teams; build strong ties with partner departments and share best practices with other CFCs.
  • Maintain hazardous materials records and confirm evacuation protocols are in place.
  • Strengthen our Safety Culture through team engagement and risk-reduction assessments.
  • Champion MSC Culture and mission; fulfill MSC Manager accountabilities (hiring, termination, reviews, and development).
  • Support annual budgeting for facility equipment (operating expenses and capital investments).
  • Troubleshoot and perform pest removal plus electrical/mechanical repairs when needed.
  • Support operational flexibility—associates may be temporarily reassigned to other warehouse functions as needed.
  • Contribute to special projects and handle other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of related maintenance experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of industrial electrical systems (motors, starters, switch gears).
  • Mechanical proficiency with bearings, shafts, speed reducers, sprinkler systems, and related equipment.
  • HVAC knowledge; in-depth familiarity with OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to deliver clear technical guidance and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Schedule flexibility with on-call availability.

Physical & Other Requirements

  • Bending to access items on floors and racks.
  • Ability to lift 25–50 pounds.
  • Comfort working at heights up to 50 feet.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • 24/7 on-call readiness.
  • May require a valid state driver’s license.
