Job Description Role: Test Automation Engineer
Duration: 6 months
Location: Plano, TX
Type : Contract
Pay rate: $40/hr - $45/hr
Job Description:
- 10 Testing Experience with Functional and Automation Testing Selenium, Cucumber, Java, Typescript
- At least 2 Years Experience with Playwright Automation being able to Consultantly work on building automation scripts from scratch and maintaining existing scripts using this framework
- Good knowledge and hands on experience on service/API testing Postman / Rest Assured.
- Capable of efficiently evaluating automation feasibility UI vs API vs Manual.
- Experience with CI/CD integration for scheduled automation and regression
- Lead distributed functional, integration, automation and regression testing teams across the implementation lifecycle.
- Strong P&C insurance domain knowledge, including policy administration, underwriting, rating, billing, claims, and integrations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate with business, product, technology, vendor, and program teams to support successful releases and go-live readiness.
- Define test plans, scope, entry/exit criteria, environments, test data, schedules, and quality metrics.
- Should be capable of adapting to new automation tools and frameworks.
