Job Title: Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)

Job Description

This Maintenance Technician role supports a high-volume cabinetry manufacturing facility by performing preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of production equipment. You will focus on maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and CNC woodworking systems while working independently on a fast-paced third shift.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment throughout the facility to reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on production equipment, including motors, bearings, chain drives, and power transmission systems.
  • Diagnose and repair pneumatic systems, including air valves, cylinders, regulators, and related components.
  • Maintain and repair automated painting cart systems, including 12V battery-powered carts and associated circuit board components.
  • Perform maintenance and repair on CNC woodworking equipment, including older pneumatically operated machinery.
  • Service and maintain saws, binders, paint shakers, dust collection systems, box-making equipment, conveyors, and additional production machinery.
  • Replace bearings, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, gearboxes, and other mechanical components as needed.
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical systems, including sensors, switches, relays, motors, and low-voltage circuits, with a focus on 12V systems.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and preventative maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair requests to support continuous production.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, uptime, and overall maintenance effectiveness.
  • Work independently during off-shift hours, prioritizing tasks and coordinating with production teams as needed.
  • Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair older machinery without relying on OEM documentation or manuals, using strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule as needed to support critical equipment issues.

Shifts:

  • Both 2nd and 3rd Shift available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Thompsontown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $76960.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
