We’re looking for an IT Operations Director to lead and optimize service desk operations, infrastructure support, enterprise application performance, data integrations, and user support. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who can align IT operations with business objectives, apply ITIL-based best practices, and support scalable growth initiatives.

\n

This leader will work closely with senior leadership to ensure technology readiness across operational excellence, customer experience, sales enablement, and long-term strategic growth.

What You’ll Do

\n

    \n
  • Develop and maintain communication programs that keep senior leadership informed on the operational readiness, performance, and strategic direction of Information Technology.
  • \n

  • Lead the IT team through identification of priorities, work assignments, technical guidance, and professional development support.
  • \n

  • Proactively stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, cybersecurity risks, and enterprise technology solutions.
  • \n

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps supporting operational growth and scalability.
  • \n

  • Mature and maintain ITIL-aligned processes including incident, problem, change, asset, and service management procedures.
  • \n

  • Oversee and manage managed service providers (MSPs) and third-party technology vendors through defined performance metrics and service expectations.
  • \n

  • Develop reporting and operational visibility around service desk ticketing, system performance, backups, patch management, cybersecurity monitoring, and infrastructure health.
  • \n

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and manage resolution of system, application, and network performance issues.
  • \n

  • Ensure technology platforms remain current, secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
  • \n

  • Serve as a change agent promoting continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and technology adoption throughout the organization.
  • \n

  • Perform analysis of cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure environments and contribute to architecture, integration, implementation, and optimization initiatives.
  • \n

  • Evaluate hardware, software, licensing, and infrastructure requirements and make recommendations to support business operations and future growth.
  • \n

  • Manage IT infrastructure policies, access controls, and user credential management to ensure security and compliance standards are maintained.
  • \n

  • Lead equipment lifecycle management, technology asset forecasting, licensing strategy, procurement planning, and inventory management.
  • \n

  • Support and maintain enterprise CRM and field service platforms including ServiceTitan, or similar enterprise operational systems.
  • \n

  • Work jointly with Business Intelligence and Data resources to support operational reporting, sales enablement tools, dashboards, system integrations, and enterprise data initiatives.
  • \n

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, sales, customer service, and field leadership teams to identify and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency and customer experience.

What You Bring

\n

    \n
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience developing and growing IT organizations.
  • \n

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical field preferred.
  • \n

  • 5+ years of progressive IT leadership experience managing infrastructure, enterprise applications, and operational technology environments.
  • \n

  • Experience leading cross-functional enterprise application and infrastructure projects of varying size and complexity.
  • \n

  • Experience supporting multi-location operational environments with distributed users and systems.
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity principles, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems administration.
  • \n

  • Experience managing vendors, MSP relationships, software licensing, and technology budgets.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused recommendations for executive leadership.
  • \n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification preferred.
  • \n

  • Experience supporting residential home services, field service, or multi-branch operational environments preferred.
  • \n

  • Experience with ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, or similar enterprise CRM/field service management platforms.
  • \n

  • Experience working within Azure cloud-based environments.
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, security, and user management.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of integrating AI technologies and automation tools into business operations.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, endpoint protection, threat monitoring, and disaster recovery planning.
  • \n

  • Experience supporting business intelligence, reporting, and enterprise data integration initiatives.
  • \n
