Overall Objective:

Utilizing AutoCad and supplemental software packages to assist Lead Design Engineer. This includes As-build control drawings from red-line field drawings and designing smaller projects.
\n
\n
Reports to:

Lead Design Engineer
\n
\n
Primary Objective:
\n
\n
Designs automation systems based on project plans, specifications and contract documents as assigned.
\n
\n
Responsibilities:
\n
\n
_ Analyzes plans, construction contracts specifications and codes to determine project requirements.
\n
_ Responsible for organizing and maintaining the job folder and updating pertinent job-related information. This includes the most recent schematics, submittals, sub-contracts, plans and schedules.
\n
_ Prepares submittals, containing schematics, descriptions, and technical literature, as required on a per job basis.
\n
_ Uses the ACAD software and other associated software for designing
\n
_ Lays out location of instruments, equipment and piping and prepares wiring diagrams.
\n
_ Prepares schedules of instrument calibration, setting and other installation instructions.
\n
_ Selects the proper types and sizes of the company’s products as well as those from outside suppliers to meet specification requirements.
\n
_ Writes specifications and prepares drawings for special components and panels purchased from outside suppliers.
\n
_ Provide information for the purchasing of material to the warehouse manager.
\n
_ Track materials on an ongoing basis to ensure their timely delivery to the job site.
\n
_ Directs and reviews the preparation of submittal booklets containing schematics, technical literature and operational instructions for the contractor and customer.
\n
_ Assists with all requirements of project closeout documentation.
\n
_ Must be able to utilize M.S.Word and M.S.Excel for project requirements and to aide in the assistance of others.
\n
_ Attends team meetings as requested

Implements quality assurance program into everyday activities to continuously improve customer satisfaction
\n
\n
_ Present a professional image of Sound Energy Systems. when speaking to customers.
\n
