Our client is an established design-build general contractor with a national footprint and 850+ completed projects. They specialize in ground-up industrial, distribution, and cold storage facilities for leading developers and institutional owners. They're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead industrial design-build projects from their Chicago office.

The opportunity
\n
This is a leadership role for a proven industrial builder who has delivered spec and build-to-suit projects for developers. You'll own projects from preconstruction and design management through turnover, lead project teams, and play a key part in client relationships and repeat business.

Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Lead ground-up industrial, distribution, manufacturing, and cold storage projects under design-build delivery
- Manage the design process, including coordination with architects and engineers, value engineering, and constructability reviews
- Own project budgets, schedules, buyout, and financial reporting
- Serve as the primary contact for owners and developers, and build long-term client relationships
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, APMs, and Project Engineers
- Partner with field leadership on safety, quality, and schedule
- Support preconstruction and business development

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- 10+ years of general contractor experience, with a strong track record on industrial projects
- Design-build experience, including managing design teams
- Experience working with industrial developers and institutional owners
- Experience with tilt-up, precast, and pre-engineered structures
- Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Chicagoland-based or open to relocating
