Assistant Project Manager – Building Development & Maintenance
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Assistant Project Manager to assist with building development, construction, tenant buildouts, site work, and ongoing property maintenance for our commercial and residential portfolio.
This is a full-time position requiring someone who can work independently, troubleshoot building issues, and coordinate effectively with our Maintenance Supervisor and contractors.
Responsibilities

Assist with commercial and residential construction and development projects.

Coordinate and assist with tenant buildouts, renovations, and site work.

Respond to building issues involving HVAC, power outages, drainage, plumbing, and general maintenance.

Assist with construction labor and hands-on building maintenance when necessary.

Monitor projects and provide regular updates and feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Work independently and identify issues requiring immediate attention.

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other trades as needed.

Primarily service three large mixed-use properties in Rochester and a multi-family property in Farmington, with occasional work at an industrial property in Syracuse.

Be available to assist with occasional weekend or after-hours building issues when required.
Qualifications

Previous construction, building maintenance, or project management experience.

Working knowledge and experience with HVAC and general building systems.

Hands-on construction experience strongly preferred.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.

Good communication and follow-through.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Ability to travel between properties as necessary.
Compensation
$30.00 per hour | Full-Time | Benefits
