Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly dependable and professional Unarmed Security Guard to join our team in Surprise, Arizona. This is a full-time, permanent outdoor position that requires an individual who takes pride in their work, demonstrates a strong work ethic, and is committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Applicants must possess a valid Arizona DPS Unarmed Security Guard license at the time of application.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol assigned outdoor areas to ensure safety and security
Oversee client parking lot operations, ensuring smooth traffic flow and safe vehicle movement
Provide a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity
Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
Respond promptly to incidents, concerns, or emergencies
Use strong communication and de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts calmly and effectively
Report any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents accurately and in a timely manner
Follow all site-specific policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Valid Arizona DPS Unarmed Security Guard license (required)
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Approachable demeanor with the ability to interact professionally with the public
Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities
High level of dependability and punctuality
Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Prior security experience is a plus but not required
