Job Summary

• Seeking a hands-on Senior Java Technical Lead with 8+ years of experience in Java backend development and payment processing platforms.

\n

• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, Kafka/IBM MQ, and cloud-native applications.

\n

• Experience developing scalable, high-performance banking and payment solutions is required.

\n

\n

\n

Mandatory Payments Domain Experience

\n

\n
• Hands-on experience in banking, payments, or financial transaction processing.

\n

• Knowledge of one or more of the following:

\n

• Wire Payments, RTP, or Fedwire

\n

• SWIFT and ISO 20022

\n

• Treasury or cross-border payments

\n

• Payment hubs or high-value transaction processing

\n

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Java microservices and payment processing applications.

\n

• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions.

\n

• Support payment modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

\n

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

\n

• Troubleshoot production issues, support deployments, and improve application performance.

\n

• Ensure code quality, scalability, security, and reliability of backend applications.

\n

\n

\n

Required Skills

\n

\n
• 8+ years of experience in Java backend development.

\n

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 11/17/21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.

\n

• Experience with Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, and event-driven architecture.

\n

• Knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

\n

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

\n

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.

\n

• Strong understanding of scalable enterprise application development and production support.

\n
