Electric Power Systems (EPS) designs and delivers advanced energy storage systems powering the next generation of flight and mobility. We're looking for a Systems Engineering Manager to lead our systems engineering team through requirements, integration, and certification-driven development on next-gen aerospace programs.
This is a strong fit for engineers who've worked in certification environments governed by standards like DO-160, DO-178, and DO-254 - you don't need to check every box, but if that's your world, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of systems engineers through requirements capture, traceability, validation, and verification
- Own systems safety analysis (FHA, PSSA, FTA, FMECA, and related methods)
- Drive system-level integration across mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces
- Keep programs on schedule and budget while safeguarding technical integrity
- Support certification engagement with regulators and customers
- Manage, coach, and grow a team of systems engineers
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
- 5+ years of aerospace systems engineering experience
- 1+ years of supervisory or people management experience
- Experience managing certification-driven development efforts
- Strong grounding in aerospace systems engineering standards and processes
Bonus Points
- Experience with DO-160, DO-178, and/or DO-254
- Familiarity with DOORS, JAMA, or similar requirements management tools
- Background with lithium battery or electric propulsion systems
- Experience supporting TSO, STC, or Experimental certification programs
