Part-Time Cleaner – East Lansing, MI
Corporate Cleaning Group is growing! We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team at a commercial facility in East Lansing.
Job Details
Location: East Lansing, MI — Coolidge Rd & W Lake Lansing Rd
Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 6:00 PM–9:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 PM–10:00 PM
Hours: 15 hours per week
Pay: $15.00 per hour — Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
What You’ll Do
As a Part-Time Cleaner, you’ll help keep the facility clean, safe, and presentable. Your responsibilities will include:
- Vacuuming floors using backpack and/or upright vacuums
- Dry and wet mopping floors
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch and other surfaces
- Cleaning all areas of restrooms
- Restocking supplies
- Removing trash and replacing liners
- Completing nightly cleaning checklists using a mobile app on your phone
- Locking and securing the building at the end of your shift
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Able to pass a background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have a personal smartphone and be willing to download and use a mobile app to complete nightly cleaning checklists
