A heavy industrial manufacturer in the Youngstown area with over 100 years in operation is looking to add a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to their plant maintenance team on a Direct-Hire, permanent basis. This is a hands on role for someone who can troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issues on the floor, not just someone comfortable swapping parts off a checklist.

Schedule:

3 weeks on days followed by 1 week on afternoons. Medical, dental, and vision all start day one.

What You Will Be Doing:

Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems throughout the plant including overhead cranes, presses, conveyors, motors, and related equipment. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints. Performing preventive and corrective maintenance. Assisting with millwright duties as needed. Following lockout/tagout and all safety protocols.

What We Are Looking For:

2 or more years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. Experience with 480/600 volt systems. Overhead crane maintenance and troubleshooting experience. Mechanical aptitude and comfort with millwright crossover duties. Blueprint and schematic reading. PLC experience a plus. High school diploma plus industrial electrician training or equivalent experience.
