What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or management when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, document daily events and unusual conditions, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Assist with addressing trespassing, noise complaints, parking issues, and other property-related concerns while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
