Job DescriptionPlatinum Property Management is hiring a full-time Property Maintenance Technician in Schofield, WI. You’ll keep our apartment communities in top shape: apartment maintenance and repairs, unit turnovers, common areas and grounds. Some hands-on experience is required; we’ll train you on our systems and standards.
This is a year-round position serving properties in Wausau, Schofield, Stevens Point, Merrill, North County and surrounding areas.
What You’ll Do
- Complete apartment maintenance and repairs
- Turn vacant units: cleaning, painting, touch-ups and move-in prep
- Keep common areas clean, including hallways, stairwells and laundry rooms
- Mow, trim and maintain lawns in summer
- Plow, shovel and salt parking lots and walkways in winter
- Log work orders, hours, photos and receipts using mobile apps
- Take your turn in the emergency on-call rotation (about every 4–6 weeks)
What We’re Looking For
- Some hands-on experience in maintenance, turnovers, painting, construction, landscaping or handyman work
- A solid work history and a habit of showing up on time
- Pride in clean, detailed work
- Comfortable using phone apps every day for work orders, photos and time tracking
- Available for early-morning snow events and the on-call rotation
- Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders and work outdoors in all weather
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Pay and Benefits
- $18–$25 per hour, based on skills and experience
- $45 per hour for on-call and after-hours work
- Company tools provided if needed
- Company truck may be available; mileage paid at the IRS rate when you use your own vehicle
- Health, dental and vision insurance after 90 days
- Paid time off and paid holidays after 90 days
