Oasis at the Crescent is seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, attentive, and takes pride in keeping others safe.
Responsibilities

Patrol interior and exterior areas of the facility

Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity

Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies

De-escalate situations in a professional manner

Enforce visitor policies and facility procedures

Monitor security systems (cameras, alarms)

Document incidents and maintain accurate daily reports

Assist residents, staff, and visitors as needed

Support emergency procedures when required
Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk, stand, and patrol the facility for long periods.

Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds if necessary (e.g., assisting with emergency evacuations).

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, as required during shifts.
Qualifications

Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred

Strong communication and judgment skills

Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations

Dependable and able to work independently

Flexible availability

Must meet all applicable state requirements for security personnel, including maintaining any required permits or certifications.

Schedule & Pay

Full-Time Shifts Available: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay Range: $17 – $25/hour (based on experience)
